I love the universe and I love the stories that can be told, but with everything that’s already been done I worry that developers won’t be able to write a story as captivating as Rick or Clementine’s stories. I say this as a fan who still watches and has enjoyed the most recent season and a half, but honestly I can’t see it going on for anything more than a more few years. The show is still airing new episodes, though its viewership has dropped dramatically after the disaster that was season 7 and 8. Clementine’s story has been completed - and with an excellent final season in my opinion. The final issue of the comics, which are the core source material, released quite a few months ago. The Walking Dead, in almost all areas, is on its way out.
